Every year, we have a sweet potato project.
Second graders go to the  potato field and plant sweet potatoes in June.
In November they go there to take sweet potatoes.
All students have cooking lessons in December.
First graders made stew and Gane.
Gane is a local dish in Nisi-Kobayashi. It is a fried-food made by mixing chopped potatoes
with melted wheat flour.   I have been made for a long time as a side dish or a snack
for children, which is slightly different in each house hold.
Second graders made potato rice and pork soup.
Third graders made potato cake. and fried mashed potato.
it's so delicious . if you have a chance please try to cook!
Eating sweet potatoes make us happy.

Every year we have a sports festival in September.
We can enjoy relay, dance and cheering and so on  live up the athletic meet.
Fox example  Gattsui Kobayashi sonomanma is a very unique dance every year.
we want you to see this dance. Its  song was sung by Higashikokubaru Hideo.
Our families come to see us and all enjoy our sports festival.
