何でも挑戦してみましょう！　Let's speak English!　【外国語】

　三股小学校では、３年生から６年生が外国人講師のアレクシス先生と外国語専科教員とで外国語活動や外国語科の学習をしています。

　授業での学習だけではなく、３年前から「宮日中学生英語暗唱大会小学生オープン参加の部」に参加しています。

　県内からたくさんの応募があり数名しか入賞しないのですが、昨年度、一昨年度に続き本校から入賞者が選ばれました。

　今年は、全部で８名の児童がオープン参加の部に応募しました。

　A4サイズ１枚の英語原稿を約１ヶ月かけて覚えて録音しました。

　指導する私たちも子どもたちの頑張りに日々刺激を受ける毎日です。

 This year as well, the third through sixth graders continued to study English with Mimata Elementary School's ALT and an  English language teacher. Activities in English are not only found in the classroom but outside as well.

For the past three years, Mimata Elementary School has offered the opportunity for students to participate in a prefecture-wide English speech contest. The contest consists of students memorizing and reciting a short English passage within about a month.

This year, eight students participated, and of those eight students, one was selected to receive a prize for their efforts and performance. 

Being able to work in and outside of the classroom with the children and seeing their hard work and great effort always spurs us onward. Keep working hard, everyone! You can speak English!
