Our entrance ceremony is held in April every year. We sing our school anthem and celebrate freshmen (new 1st graders). Also, the brass band club plays there every year. The entrance ceremony is gorgeous with a lot of flowers and message boards that we make. ( Sena Kikuchi 3-1 )

Our student council election is held in October every year. It is one of the most important events in our school. Candidates and supporting speakers make speeches about how to make our school better. Every candidate makes a wonderful speech. ( Ryoma Obara 3-2)

We have a greeting campaign every Thursday morning. It’s called “moni-moni”. The name comes from “morning.” It makes us happy. Today people are suffering from COVID19(Corona virus) around the world. I think that Saying hello for each other makes people happy and smile. We shouldn’t forget to care for each other. I’m sure that greeting has a big power. (Madoka Nasu 3-2)

Our art club is very fun. We have had a lot of prizes in some picture contests. In summer, we draw big pictures for our sports day with all the art club members. It’s very difficult. But, when we work together, we have a lot of fun. We welcome beginners and also experienced ones! Would you like to draw pictures with us? ( Nonoka Nakashima 3-1)

We have a school excursion when we are in the 2nd year. Last year, we visited Kyoto, Nara and Osaka. On the 1st day, I went to Todaiji temple. On the 2nd day, I visited a lot of places which we decided to go to with my group members. Each group had a theme to research there. On the 3rd day, I went to Universal Studio Japan and played a lot. We went for a school trip last June. It is one of the most exciting events in our school. We went to Osaka, Nara and Kyoto. You can have fun with your friends in each place you go. I’ll never forget this trip and I want to go there again. ( Yuri Kawano 3-1)

Our sports day is held in September every year. It is one of the most exciting events in our school. But it was held only a half day this year and we focused on SDGS. The sports day became a special day for me because I learned that it is very important for us to cooperate with each other. You can grow up and become generous through the event. We have a graduation ceremony in March. The third grade students will be grateful for teachers, friends and people in the community. The third graders get graduation qualifications. All students sing songs to celebrate the graduation. It is a very impressive event. ( Ai Kakiuchi 3-1)

Our graduation ceremony is held in March every year. It is one of the most moving events in our school. All the classes practice singing very hard to make the ceremony successful. We usually practice singing for several months. I’m proud of Mr. Miyazaki. He is our music teacher. He doesn’t give up teaching us. When we can’t sing well, he always shows a good example to us.
